Merry Christmas Everyone

Merry Christmas Everyone,

You will not be getting a card from me. I just didn't get them done. We are in the middle of a mess right now. Getting ready to put the house on the market and everything has gone backwards. Bruce put his back out and missed a week of work. He was supposed to be home to help me pack up stuff...but at least he is better now and returning to work tomorrow....only problem is now all that is going to fall on me...sorry not whinning, just feeling a little over whelmed. The realtor thinks my house is going to sell quick....I hope she knows what she is talking about, but anyway, IF it does go quick, we have to have a TON of stuff packed up and I really can't get into that until AFTER Christmas. Then we are debating whether to rent for a while, so then WHERE do we go and that is moving TWICE....ack....I'm going a little nuts here. At least I have Anthony (age 11) and he is a good helper. I'm really going to have to reach out to my nieces and nephews to lend me a hand here......I'm beginning to think this move is a bad idea....................

PS......I'm getting a head cold.....................

Advice please!!!!!!!!!!

We have a large house with a small lot. Would you buy a smaller home if it meant more land? This is what we are considering. Wouldn't it be worth it in the long run? If I have some acerage I could always add on right? Yeah I'm Charlie Brown here, can't make a decision.

What would you do?????

I'm supposed to talk to a finanial advisor today about selling the house, and moving. We are looking for some land. Tired of living house to house. Wish me luck on that one. But the economy here is bad, so my realtor says don't get excited about selling quick....home sales are picking up s l o w l y.......bummer....I want to be out by the end of spring!! Update.........we have been approved, so now we prepare to put our house on the dead market......ha ha ha............Photo is from last year.

Living Hope Day

Here are some photos of our agency's National Adoption Month Celebration. The man in the kitchen is Samuel, the owner of our agency. He gave a cooking demo. Really funny...I know who does the cooking in that family, and it's not him...it's his wife! LOL

Doesn't Emily look so happy with the turkey on her head. Can you see her in a few years..."Mom that is tackie"....can't you hear it?? LOL

Ashley is the blonde with Emily. Ashley is the "ONE" who called us with Emily's file. I had Emily all ready to say "Hi Ashley." We practiced all week......she wouldn't say a word when the moment arrived...........Oh well Ashley, I tried.......PS Ashley we are using the hint from class about the money jars for the boys. I forgot the lady's name, but tell her the money jars are working!

The other lovely lady is Lori and her son. I just love them! They are a sweet family! Her daughter was running around somewhere, but I didn't get her photo.

National Adoption Month

The kids and I are headed to PA this weekend to our agency's celebration of National Adoption Month. I think we are having a cooking class while the kids are learning a dance. I don't know how Emily will do. She will either A)hang on to me for dear life, or B)boogie the day away. You just never know with her.

Anyway I have decided to rent a car for the drive. The van is just getting some age on it and I'm kinda worried about sitting on the side of the road in PA without hubby. My sister has agreed to go with me, so at least I'll have an extra set of hands with me!!!

So what about you?? Any Nation Adoption Month plans??????

PS..we are thinking of selling our house and moving somewhere with some LAND to PLAY on......anyone want to buy a house????
